Everyone in the freestyle group was really nice and during the social events the dancers went out of their way to make us all feel welcome.

I think the best thing to do if you don't know anyone is to PM here on skating forums with someone who is going, so you have a "friend" when you get there.

I almost had it worked out that I could go (whether I could skate was a different matter) but now it turns out I don't have the vacation time.

I decided not to go after all. My summer class is kicking my ### and I want to stay home and focus on my moves test so I can hopefully test it in July (plus I decided to buy a new iPhone instead ) Next year!!

I had a GREAT time this past weekend at the Motown Tango!

I'm still sore and exhausted but it was well worth it! Alissa and Amber are fantastic spin coaches and Yuka is just... ahhhh, no words can describe.

I'm already looking forward to next year!
