Ideas for program music

My 11 year old niece from Connecticut is going to put together a 1 minute 40 second program with the help of my coach.

I think she is looking for ideas for possible music selection. She skates at the preliminary level in moves and is at freestyle 2.

Any ideas?

Soundtracks from movies are what I've used lately. The last program I cut for a young girl was from ET, and this was suggested by my daughter. I'm just not up on what might be new and different right now to suggest anything specific. Sometimes it's worth it to go back a few years and see what was a popular family movie and hope it hasn't been heard lately. For example, my daughter skates to the soundtrack from a movie that was popular about 8 years ago.

The soundtrack from the movie "Madeline" is beautiful and should be suitable for an 11-year old girl. It was written by French composer Michel LeGrand, and has many different moods. The movie came out about five years ago.
