For standard USFSA competitions, what ADULT events are you interested in competing in?

Not that I am a member of the USFSA (not this year, anyway), but if I were, I'd do compulsory dance and Interpretive.

Gold Freestyle and eventually interpretive. Maybe a compulsory or spin event.

If I was I'd do jumps and spins, so long as they just wanted single jumps and NO backspin!
Sign me up for just about anything!! ;-) Also, Solo dance.
Interpretive and freestyle.

What's "showcase"?

Showcase is an interpretative event where the stress is put on entertainment. Usually you see costumes and either very funny or dramatic numbers.
Please help me out everyone! I have been asked by my skating board to reconsider which events to offer the adults at our club's annual competition this year. I mainly am curious to see if there is a high interest in adding Moves in the Field and Adult Solo Dance in place of maybe the jump and spin events.
Thanks everyone!

As an adult dancer, I would like to see a competition where I could enter with my coach and do a free dance. I've seen OD offered, but after spending so much time perfecting a free dance for testing, it's a shame to not be able to do it anywhere after the test. I think more adults test than compete, so if we could compete what we tested, rather than have to choreograph an OD, maybe more would enter. On the other hand, I don't know if there's enough adults who do free dance to warrant adding a division for it.
