Angel Update (blades for Justine)

Hi everyone: Plans are moving for Justine's special Christmas gift.

I need everyone who'd like to contribute to let me know in either this thread or the original Angel's thread. Again, I'm asking for five to ten dollars from anyone who'd care to give. If you add your name to the list, I'll PM you my address to send the check. Checks should be made out to me (Elizabeth Weiner) as the blades are on my credit card and I'll be writing the checks for ice time and anything else we do to help Justine and her family.

My husband and I plan to join a couple of others from our club (hubby will dress as Santa!!!) and deliver holiday dinner and the wrapped Coronation Ace box to Justine on Christmas Eve (box will be my old one as her blades are on order). It will contain a scroll with the names of everyone who contributed--in all of your cases, it will be your "board name." This is why I need to hear from everyone who wants to help so I can add your "name." 8-)

Again, thank you very much, and please get back to me by Christmas Eve morning. Our delivery will take place around 3:30 that afternoon.

flo: Your angel did get here today, and thank you!! Everyone, you should see this. A lovely little bead and wire "skating angel" pin tucked into an evening bag sized burgundy Christmas stocking with beaded trim, and a ribbon hanger PLUS a shoulder strap--she can wear it like an elegant purse!!! flo: You are AMAZING--both the stocking and pin are beautiful!!! Thank you-for these lovely gifts and the contribution!!!

I'll start "PM-ing" everyone today or tomorrow. This just makes me warm all over, and I can use that feeling. My older kitty cat went to the hospital today--he probably has an kidney infection affecting his digestive system or vice versa. He's eighteen years old, so as you might guess, I'm worried that he's going to make it home. We've had episodes like this before and he's pulled through, so hopefully the Christmas angels are watching over him, too.

I made the pins and purses to sell as a fundraiser for our club tag sale. I have a few pins left if anyone wants them - I'll bring them to the Northern Va. competiton.
