Good luck (not that you need luck) on your Bronze Freeskating test, Danielle! You'll be fine. And remember that most judges really do want you to pass. Have a great skate.

OMG! Thanks!!! I am looking up now, I am getting 4-5 revs out of a backspin and my sit is happening half the time, so I think my chances are pretty good.

This is sooo sweet!

As for what I must do, it is a minute and a half program (icenut, I am not sure how long that is with the exchange rate - sorry, old joke ;-).

I must have 3 different single jumps, a waltz-toe combo, a one foot spin (4 revs), a backspin and a sitspin (3 revs each)

Good luck - just relax and enjoy it. At the end of the day, you can't control what the judges say about your skating, all you can do is skate your best. And if they have comments to make, take heed!

Hi everyone!! Thank you so much for all of your good wishes! (even though Skaternum was probably just trying to protect her $5's ;-)

I was supposed to skate last, but one of the judges didn't show up and my pre-bronze dances and bronze FS could be skated with one judge. So, I warmed up and skated my dances.

Swing - 6.2 (6.0 to pass)
ChaCha - 6.4 !!
Fiesta - 6.2

Then I warmed up my freeskate and was quite nervous. I completed the jumps ok and my spins had the revs they needed. My sit was truly a squat and, while my backspin had 5 revs, I fell out of it. He decided I did not need to reskate it and so I passed! I need 5.0 combined and received a 5.0, so !!

I get to go to AN!!!

Congrads your your tests. I wish I was well enough to be able to try for my prelim fs, introductory interpretive fs, the rest of my prelim dances and the fiesta. But this surgery I had last month has killed it for me so far.
