Wow - I'm surprised about that. Now what will he do for a partner?

how tall is he? I'm sure there's enough tiny sprites that would be willing to be tossed around by a hottie.

I'm really not surprised by this, to be honest. She has grown quite a bit over the past 4 years (and she's still tiny). But she has somewhat grown too much for Rockne.

Hmmm...USFSA website says she's only 5'. I'm 5' 3.5", so probably too tall for him. OTOH, I probably won't grow any taller and, if anything, will shrink at least an inch or two to osteoporosis.

I think that Mariel Miller's growth spurt did in her partnership with Brubaker. They were also a good pair with a future until she shot up.

I think someone said he's looking for a new partner, but she's taking a year off.

That's a bummer, I loved them together!

I have a friend who used to skate with Rockne until she got too homesick (she was only like 10 or 11 and had moved to Chicago). She's something like 5'7" now so she DEFINITELY would have outgrown him! :)

I've noticed also that she has grown...yes still tiny but she def got taller and well, matured like a normal girl.. Rockne is only 5'8". Correct me if I'm wrong. It's too bad though, I did like them together. Maybe he should look for a girl who is already 16 + yrs old. By 16 most girls have stopped growing.

Most young women stop growing around age 13-16, but it's tricky when there is intense athletics involved. My 19 year old daughter just grew another half inch this year, and she used to do some serious gymnastics, then figure skating, now rugby. Puberty can be delayed and when it hits later on, watch out!

As long as you can land your sbs and throw jumps then you're hired.
