I had posted this in a discussion about US Nationals but it doesn't really belond there so I'll post a new thread here.
Who will be doing the commentating for the Olympics in your part of the world?
I was interested to see the lineup for CTV's skating commentators. Rod Black will be the host, with the expert analysis coming from Jamie Salé & David Pelletier, Elizabeth Manley, and Jennifer Robinson. JRo and Liz will both be great -- I've heard them do some commentating in the past, and they were both spot-on, hitting just the right tone. Not quite so sure about Jamie & David -- they're very knowledgable, but David in particular has a tendency to get too jokey and familiar. But we'll see.
And of course I hope that Rod Black, during his long absense from covering skating, has recovered from his urge to cite Elvis Stoijo at every possible opportunity.
