I'm confused. I heard she broke up with Josph (sorry if I spelled his name wrong),and joined with Alex Merritt in 2008.

Katie Beriau split from Joseph Gazzola before she partnered up with Alex Merritt in 2006. Beriau and Merritt split after 2008 U.S. Nationals. The "Tracings" website confirms this information in Beriau/Merritt's profile: http://www.tracings.net/beri-merr.html

I don't know if Beriau is still skating or looking for a new pairs partner. Last I heard Merritt was skating with a new partner named Lauren Simm and may compete with her next season (2010-11). None of these teams have official websites.

Beriau has had shoulder surgery. I don't know if she'll be looking for a new partner or not once she's healed.

Do we have an update for her? What's she doing now? Did she find another Partner for Pairs. Or is she coaching? BTW. does (or did) she do Freestyle as well?

Katie did freestyle before she started pairs (competed in Senior Ladies in New England Regionals and I think she qualified for Easterns once).

She's in college now. I don't know if she's planning on finding a new partner. I expect, if she does, there will be an announcement.

I surely hope she does. She's a very pretty skater. BTW. are there any old Freestyle photos of her?
