They're probably still finalizing some stuff, but the qualifying events and deadlines are the same in all three sections, so you can read the MW or PC PDFs for that info. Application deadline for qualifying events is Jan. 2, 2010.

(Sectionals refers to qualifying events only. None of the nonqualifying announcements is out yet.)

I'm glad Easterns in in NC again. It will be familiar, which is nice. I won't lie, though. I am really jealous the other two Sections get a couple extra weeks to prepare!

Ill be applying from Kazakhstan  and training there no doubt. Im leaving December 4th . Ill be returning every 6 weeks to train with my coach here. back and forth etc. etc. Maybe even take a few day's and go to Oberstdorf and try and do some training in Germany . Its at least 10 hours closer than coming back to the states. This will be " FUN" 8O I may only get to come back for the competitions. This is crazy but what choice do I have ?. In any case this will be an interesting way to train for nationals this year.. 8O

Hey Stephen I am coming ....he he :twisted::twisted: Just kidding mate...

Debating now if I want to enter any non-qual events. This past Easterns, the Championship and Open Gold events were 8 hours apart on the same day and by the time the Open event rolled around, I was tired, completely unmotivated to skate the program again and I didn't skate all that great. I don't want to run into that sort of situation again. I'd do something fun like compulsory moves but $90 bucks to perform 4 elements isn't worthwhile either. Decisions, decisions.....

Preliminary solo dance. Except scratch that, if you ever entered a dance event, I'd want to be there to see it live.

OMG I have a conflict w/mids and don't think I can go but I want another competition (especially since I had to w/d from Buckeye and can't do Columbus in 2 weeks d/t this damn injury)...maybe since I'm just nonqual anyway I'll come to Easterns since we're not doing NYI this year...hmm...lemme look at dates and flights and money and stuff.

ZOMG, if you came to Easterns that would be amazing!!!! And I've done solo dance once, and never again. It was awful and hilarious all at the same time. There's a reason I don't dance.....
