There will be a competition at The Rinx in Hauppauge,New York on Sunday August 2, 2009. The entry fee is $55. Pretty reasonable these days.
They will have adult events up to and including Gold in both Free and showcase. The web site is www.therinx.com. Click on figure skating or public skating. I don't remember which. The event is called the Summer Open.
It is a twin rink facility and easy to get to.
