I started skating again yesterday!

You see, I think my sciatic pain is lessened when I move around, rather than just lie on the couch (when I'm not in a treatment of some sort), so I figured I should try just skating around to see if my blades needed sharpening.

My hunch about needing to get my blades sharpened was right. Also, I was pretty sore after 30 minutes, so I left early and stopped by my trusty sharpener at Rainbo.

I will try skating again tomorrow morning. I think it's safer on SHARP blades.

Congrats! I have exactly 9 days until I can get back on the ice! No injuries here, I'm out of the country in a place that only had a seasonal rink. I haven't skated since the end of March. I am just about jumping out of my skin ready to get back on the ice. :D
