Hi guys

I need help with ISI level 2, a jump called toe walley (or is that level 3). Learnt it over 10 years ago, now has forgotten how to do that jump completely.

I also need help with ISI level 3 dance step sequence, is that the same as level 2?

Thanks.

Existing ISI FS2 HALF Toe Walley thread: http://www.skatingforums.com/showthread.php?t=26095&highlight=toe+walley
There are descriptions and explanations there, including the ISI rulebook requirements.

The ISI tests have separate dance step sequences for each level.

Dance Step VIDEO: http://www.isiasia.org/isiasia/video..._standards.php (http://www.isiasia.org/isiasia/video/freestyle_tests_standards.php)

Dance Step PATTERNS: http://www.igfsu.org/images/ISI%20Dances/ISIDances.pdf
(NB: These are not up to date; the Freestyle 6/7/8 patterns are not labeled correctly. See the 2004 Rulebook Revisions, below.)

Hi Isk8NYC

For the links you replied to me about ISI freestyle 2 and 3 dance step sequence, I cannot open them. Is there another link that I can go to?

Many thanks in advance.

Not that I know of; you should get a current ISI rulebook then.

Hi

I do have a rule book given by my previous coach in Hong Kong. It still does not help much. Thinks that I will have to ask the coach when I start taking lessons in the rink in Singapore again, about showing me ISI freestyle 3 dance sequence.

There are new rules in effect that are mandatory starting today. I don't know if the FS1-10 levels even exist anymore, there are new bronze, silver, gold, platinum tests and competition events.
The new rulebook isn't out yet, but check the ISI website for a summary of the changes.

The Bronze through Platinum tests and open events are in addition to the FS1-10. My understanding is that it was a way of incorporating USFS skaters into the competitions without having to run them through a series of ISI FS tests first. It also enables the skaters to compete without including the specific elements that are required in the FS events such as the step sequences.

I agree with liz_on_ice. Checkout the website for these changes. All of the OP's original questions are answered in the rulebook.
