I've started working on the double loop. I get 1.5 rotations, and I land with my feet crossed, kind of on both feet (still crossed) so it feels a bit tangled up.
Off ice, I get the full two rotations and a good landing (no hop out of it).

Does anyone have any good tips/things to think about to help me land the loop? Thanks :)

Which way are you doing it from? A three turn or back edge.

You may not be getting enough knee bend to achieve the proper height, and you also may not be taking a deep enough edge. If the takeoff is too straight, it is hard to get the rotational momentum for two rotations.

I do them from a back edge. Is it correct to be going on a straight line and then jumping around and up?

I would say that you swich the jump to the three turn way and point ur toe in the air. The key is standing tall and pointing ur toe.

point the toe of the landing foot?

Ya but point both toes when your in the air, thats how I got mine, and squeeze your butt.

I would also recommend that when you are on the back edge to make sure you wait a bit longer than you think you need to before you bend your knee and jump. Don't rush the edge.

Also make sure your front arm (left if you are a CCW skater) doesn't start pre rotating. Make sure you leave it in front and feel a bit of tension in it before you bend and jump. Then pull in.

And yes - as everyone else has said make sure you point your toe!

Work single loop double loop combination! Worked a treat for me (a long time ago...)
