I've seen this posted on CAS and on Facebook - Mel (Mel-on-Ice) was admitted today and her baby was delivered this afternoon due to complications from pre-eclampsia. She was 27 weeks along, Baby Will is just under two pounds, and by all reports both are doing well so far.
Best wishes to Mel, Dave and Will. An early preemie is a bit of a roller coaster, but I mean it when I say there's still more joy than "ack!" about it - my son is now nearly 9 and just about perfect :) Pre-e is scary and it's one of those times that you're very very thankful for necessary medical intervention.
