Lake Placid, NY also caters to younger skaters, although I'm not sure if it excludes adults. It appears to be an "ala carte" menu where you pick-and-choose the on- and off-ice sessions and contract for private/group lessons.

NOTE: AFAIK, Penn State is not offering any adult programs, but here are the details for their younger-skater summer camp.

Penn State Figure Skating Camp
June 27–July 3, 2009

Who Should Attend
The Penn State Figure Skating Camp is designed for students entering grades three through twelve next fall. High school graduates are eligible to enroll. The training program is structured for pre-preliminary through advanced-level skaters. The participants should have a minimum skill proficiency of USFS pre-preliminary, USFS, Freeskate 1, or ISI freestyle 1.

About the Camp
The Penn State Figure Skating Camp offers a comprehensive instructional program in a setting where housing, training, and recreational facilities are conveniently located within a short walking distance of each other.
Camp skating sessions take place at the Penn State Ice Rink, which has a 200' x 85' ice surface, as well as a training room used for off-ice jumping, conditioning, and dance and choreography classes. The camp provides arts and crafts projects for participants during free time, and campers are encouraged to enjoy Penn State's many recreational facilities, including the outdoor swimming pool, and tennis and racquetball courts. Participants are housed in University residence halls, and twenty-four-hour supervision is provided for all resident campers.

The philosophy of the Penn State Figure Skating Camp is multifaceted, focusing on the overall development of the skater to achieve success in tests and competitions. The program provides approximately three to four hours of ice time per day.

Daily Training Sessions Will Include:

Moves in the Field Class—Emphasis is on edge quality, extension, quickness, power, flow, and presentation.
Freestyle Class—Emphasis is on jump and spin technique, footwork, and connecting moves.
Power Stroking/Edge Class—This conditioning class helps to strengthen stroking technique and develop power, flow, and control.
Off-ice Classroom—Sessions include sports psychology, smart goal setting, nutrition, healthy training for competition, and test preparation.
Practice Session—This provides time for skaters to review and reinforce what they have learned in the instructional sessions, obtain private instruction, work on moves in the field, and practice their programs and dance routines.
Off-ice Training—This includes warm-up, stretch and jump, and aerobic activities.
Other Sessions Offered

On-ice style and choreography
Off-ice dance and choreography

I think it's past the time that is generally considered summer, but here is the information for the Dorothy Hamill Figure Skating Fantasy Camp.

http://www.dorothyhamill.com/slices/skatecamp2.htm

It doesn't give much information at all about how classes will be scheduled, ice time etc- and for that much money, I think I'd want to know a lot more (especially since the phrase "or if it is is your first time on the ice" is used.)

Y'know I'd almost pay that much money to get brackets (and it does include lodging). I have a ice dance friend who says he paid thousands over years to get three turns at speed. If it could get the Big Guy doing toe loops rather than toe waltz loops it would save him money. This year is the THIRD year he's gone to adult camps and worked on them and each camp averages about 2k or more (including hotels).

Oh, I think it's probably a "reasonable" price (though not for me...) It just doesn't include much information. Perhaps it's not meant to be a training camp (it does call it a Fantasy Camp) but rather a vacation with some ice skating. I would just want to have some more information before signing up.

I haven't heard any rumours about this, but my guess is that since Fraser/Lukanin have retired from eligible competition, they may not be teaching ice dance at the Hackensack camp.

I could be wrong on that. That's just my guess based on my knowledge of how this camp works re: staffing.

I'd be pleased to be wrong. Igor, especially, is a great teacher.

I asked. The Hackensack camp ice dance sessions will be run by Anna Zadorozniuk and Sergei Verbillo, from the Ukraine.
