Does anyone know the official amount of time allowed on a test schedule for Int. moves? I'm trying to get my stamina up so I can finish them in that time frame. I'm thinking it's around 11-12 minutes?

Today after my lesson I had 45 minutes left to skate, and coach thought I should be able to fit in 5 full run-throughs!! Silly man---he'd forgotten to allow for the time it takes me to sit on the bench and wheeze while I catch my breath for the next element.

I'm pretty sure it's 12 minutes.

There's a suggested time it should take, but nothing official. If you go over the suggested time, you don't get penalized or anything like that.

FIVE run throughs of intermediate moves in one session! 8O Yowza! I know the novice test is longer, but still, that's a lotta hustling in one session!

The manual for test chairs says to schedule 15 minutes for intermediate moves. But that's just for scheduling purposes, like others have said I don't believe there's a rule that penalizes you for going over.

I'm old. When I took my bronze moves, I took quite a bit of time inbetween moves to catch my breath.

As a test chair I give 13 minutes for an intermediate test.
