WANTED: Skaters Ages 6 to ADULT
Upper Mountain Skating Association (UMSA) Synchro is looking for skaters aged 6 through adult to join our Synchro program based out of central New Jersey. Synchronized skating is a team sport combining the deep edges and timing of ice dance along with the power and elements of freestyle to form different configurations as a team on the ice in synchronicity.
Teams practice at Princeton Sports Center and Ice Land arena.
Season runs May through March with tryouts in April.
Competitions & Exhibitions run November - March
April 12th: Skating Workshop in the evening at IceLand Arena, Hamilton, NJ
Offering: synchro basics, freestyle, ice dance, artistry, spins with top national, international and Olympic coaches.
April 13th: Tryouts in the evening at IceLand.
(Tentative) April 13(morning) or 20th(evening): Tryouts at Princeton Sports Center in Monmouth Junction, NJ.
