I was 20 and began when my university started a collegiate team. I would have started at a younger age, but the area I live in did not have a team that I was able to skate on (passed Sr. MIF years ago, so I was too high/old for the levels my rink did have: Juvenile and Intermediate teams).

I'm 22 now and wish I could have began younger. I absolutely love it! :D

13 years of singles skating and two years of synchro!

I was 21 and had only been taking lessons for about 4 months when I started skating "precision". 17 years later, I'm still skating on the same team LOL (different team name but the same team as registered with US Figure Skating)! Last season, we won gold at Synchro Nationals in the Adult division! :)
