I was just surfing You Tube and checking out some of my favorite bands. I came across this awesome video by a great band, The Lightning Seeds. I didn't know of this song before, but I love the video.

Nice axel, but even better, nice dispensing of the evil hockey players. :)

Yeah, I caught that as well, especially when the one hockey player did a backflip. Wonder who that was...anyone famous?

This guy is wearing hockey skates.. but he's done lots of freestyle.. otherwise he'd never be able to do that footwork.

I was going to guess Kurt Browning because he can sure keep up with Browning's level of footwork, but it's definitely not him. My guess would be just some unknown skater from a local club's show. Pretty darn good though! And on hockey skates yet! 8O

I figured it was a figure skater, not a hockey skater- but I'm wondering who.

I don't think it's a club's local show, just based on the set up of the ice. It looks like a temporary rink for a traveling show- at one point you see 2 skaters walking along the side of the rink, and the audience is almost right on the ice. Not to mention- our club sure doesn't have the funds to do multiple spotlights like that!

I don't agree. He is good, but doesn't come close to KB's amazing talent with footwork. KB really channels Gene Kelly, where this guy does an imitation of KB "being" Gene Kelly. Still, good fun!
