Hey all,
Just thought I would pass along some information to figure skaters in the DC area who enjoy teaching children. :)
Fort Dupont Ice Arena in Washington, DC, runs a non-profit skating program called Kids On IceŽ. It's mission is to make skating available to children who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it.
I have been volunteering with KOI for about 7 years now, and I really enjoy it. We are always looking for more volunteers.
