Holy mackeral, check out this dude and his crazy Bielman and other spiral positions (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rO6OACauf8&feature=related) (apparently called "scorpion" in cheerleading lingo).

I'd love to see the first position in this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTHrXW3hJyQ&feature=related) as a spin.

I hope he never tries that last one with skates on! He'd gouge his chin with his toepics getting out of it! 8O

I thought the same thing when I saw it. Seems these ppl are cheerleaders or gymnasts.

Here's an interesting how-to:

Could be done though I think, let the toe run under the chinline, the toepick sticking out to the side.

Still, it'd be a wee bit too close to the artery for my tastes.

That's called contortion hehe. This guy is really quite flexible alright. When his leg sprung back and his shoe got him on the chin - that would definitely be dangerous if that happened with skates on hehe. It'd be hilarious if he got into a spin with the skate on his chest though haha.

And then there's this girl. . . She's got to end up with knee problems!

Hah, I used to be able to do that before I broke my ankle. And most the kids in ballet can too... The trick isn't in the knee but in sideways spine flexibility.
