Just found this on youtube. It was posted over a yr ago, but I have never seen this spin, although there are certainly similar out there. Supposedly this spin was created by an Aussie skater (shown in the vid) and she named it after herself.

for some reason, when I go on YouTube now, I can't see any videos. I get this message:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player (http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/).
So I clicked the linked, got the Flash player, saw the animation to confirm it. still not working. I googled 'how to turn on javascript' and did it (tools>internet options>security>custom level> something about enabling active scripts) STILL NOT WORKING!!! help!

The news video (Ten News, Australia) speaks of a new move, but not a new spin. So I'm guessing that what they mean by a new move is an original transition into that holding-the-skate-above-the-head spin. So it's like a new move, or a new sequence for a spin combination. They probably don't mean a new kind of spin in itself.

In my internet explorer, my custom level setting is medium-high, which is the default. Maybe you can try doing a reset to reset all the usual settings. I'm guessing that you've got the usual settings already though.

I'm not an expert in this flash player setting up etc. But if you have QuickTime installed on your computer, then maybe that could be interfering with the flash player things. Like if you go to Control panel, and if you have a quicktime icon there, then try firing that up to take a peek. If there is a quicktime settings menu...take a look at 'BROWSER -> Mime Settings'....may have to uncheck miscellaneous file formats (since if you click on the '+' sign in there, it will show 'flash' options etc). And also in the quicktime menu, take a look at 'FILE TYPES > Miscellaneous'....and click on the '+' sign.....and uncheck the 'flash' option.

If you do have quicktime....and if you do change those settings, then make sure to write down or remember which settings you change, so that later you can change them back if you wish.

Also, take a look at this link too...

It's very similar to Caroline Zhang's bielman, except Zhang pulls the skate from the bielman into this foot position, where as this Kayla pulls it from this position into the bileman.
