I'm usfsa freeskate 3 and I take a 45 minute group lesson and then skate about 30 minutes on tuesday, take a 30 minute private lesson and skate 30 minutes on wednesday, and a 45 minute group lesson on Saturday. I also plan to add about 30 minutes - 60 minutes skating on Sunday.

For synchro we do 30 minutes off ice, and then 75 minutes on ice on wednesdays. Anything I need to practice for synchro individually gets absorbed into my regular practice times.

I also do 30 minutes of cardio/strength training at a gym 4 days a week.

I skate 1.5 hours two days a week and 2.25 hours 3 days a week. How long I practice something depends on how I'm feeling that day, or what's coming up, or how many sessions I'm skating.

Intermediate MITF- 15 mins - 45 mins

Jumps (Silver F/S, but working on doubles) - 30 mins - 45 mins

Spins - 15 mins - 20 mins

Dance (testing Bronze & Pre-Silver, working on Silvers) - 10 mins - 45 mins

1.5-2 hours on ice
1 hour off ice (cardio/weights)
30 minutes stretching.
I typically do this 5-6 days a week give or take a day.

I am technically Pre-Bronze but I have the ability to skate Gold Level. I just haven't taken the tests yet.

Hmph, I just typed a reply and the 'puter ate it!

Until this week I skated for 90 minutes or longer 4 times a week; however, my Tuesday and Wednesday sessions will have to be 45 minutes to an hour, I think, if I am to get into work on time. So will have to learn to use the session productively, not stand about chatting!

I skate approximately 1-2 hours, about 5 days a week. My practices are mix of freestyle, moves, and dance - whatever needs working on that day.

I also do off-ice jumping, one-legged squats, crunches, arm-weights, and stretching for about a half-hour 5-7 days a week (sometimes I forget!).

Oh - and I'm working on Adult Silver Moves and FS, and working on the Canasta Tango and Rhythm Blues for dance.

(though I'm not doing any of this at the moment...)

well definitely depends on my schedule.
over the summer i went nuts
I skated 2-3 times a week, and this was my sched
8.15-9.15 freestyle
9.30-10.30 off ice
10.30-11.30 on ice
11.30-12.15 off ice
1.15-about 4.00 on ice

but now i'm back at school, and if i'm lucky i get to the rink 2x a week for about 2 hours. I've tested usfsa pre-pre, but i'm on my high doubles, working on double axels a bit, so really, like juv

On Ice Training

Sunday: 1.5 hours skating practice
Monday night: An hour to an hour and 15min, depending on how tired I am.
Wed morning: Lesson... probably anywhere from 50 to an hour.
Thurs: An hour to an hour and 15min, depending on how much of a time crunch I have for work.

Off Ice Training

I do 3-50 min session on the elliptical trainer where I try to kick my heart rate up to about 160 bpm and then do a slow 5 minute cool down. I already maxed out on the treadmill for the incline. I've just recently maxed out on speed as well for walking... and I really can't afford to do running w/o putting impact on my lower back anymore b/c of the speed. On which day I do this depends on when I have my training sessions with my two PT's right now, but lately it's been Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Yeahhhhh.... I pretty much just go in for my lessons, lol... well at least it gets me out of bed in the morning! I'm bronze freeskate and working on pre-juv/silver moves. I don't practice all that much. I've been scolded more than a few times!

Oh boy...bad subject...

Right now I'm only skating 3 days a week, if I'm lucky, and usually less than an hour each session. Yes, my coach is complaining.

I'm running 25-30 miles a week, so I get plenty of cardio. The problem is that my legs are usually too sore to do much off ice jumping...which I really need to do.

Wow you guys are good...

...and then there's me...(in middle of Adult Bronze - passed moves, haven't tested FS yet)

Due to a total lack of funds AND having to work 2 jobs I currently only skate twice a week - one for 45 min (w/20 min lesson) and the other for 2 hours (though I rarely stay the whole 2 hours, I admit)

This is also partially because I have to skate before work in the a.m. and I already get up at 5:30 w/o going skating.

OH TO BE INDEPENDENTLY WEALTHY.

If I were, I'd skate five times a week. I'd be really good, too. :halo:

I started 7 months ago and skate as a hobby that I really enjoy as opposed to seriously. I skate 1.5 - 2hrs per week and am on NISA 1
