I thought I would share this here in case there are others who didn't know this:) (Though I might be the only one who had no idea how to use that tongue hook!)

Last week, another skater showed me how the hook on the tongue of my SP Teris is supposed to work to keep the tongue from slipping.
After tightening the bottom part of the laces, you loop the lace coming from the inside of your boot under the hook and then back around over the top. Then loop the lace coming from the outside of your boot under the hook and back over the top. Then you continue lacing as normal.

I can't believe I just learned this after having these skates for over a year. Usually, I just crossed the laces underneath the tongue hook and continued lacing up. I had major problems with the tongue slipping to the side of the boots. Lacing them as I described above has put an end to the slipping, and now I'm a much happier skater:)
