Hello all...My blades are just about done and it is time for new ones. What have you guys heard and/or experienced with k-picks? My interim coach suggested them for me since I frequently miss my toe pick on my lutz and flip. Any thoughts?

I know a few people who had them but didn't really see a major difference.

The general opinion was that they shouldn't be used to correct poor or incorrect technique and if you had good technique they weren't necessary anyway.

Most of the people that I knew who bought them went back to 'bog standards' for their next blades.

I could see you purchasing them if you wanted more stability and height, but if you are missing the pick completely, I would work on your technique first. I was advised against them because they can become a crutch. Some people don't notice a difference at all. Other's have said that they made their jumps worse. Like everything, I guess it's all preference.

I have K-picks, and I don't think they make any difference.
