Hello from Oberstdorf

Well it is a lovely day in Oberstdorf today. About 75 degrees and sunny, much better than yesterday's deluge of rain. They are having a curling contest at 2 of the 3 rink's so we get to skate in the main arena which is lovely. Carolina Kostner is here, but I have only seen her working out on land not ice. Should be fun.

Ooh, there's good stroking exercise--just chase Carolina around the ice on a freestyle session and try not to fall behind, LOL!

Is that how the weather is expected to be? I haven't googled the weather in a few days and haven't finished packing yet. Get the ice all ready for the rest of us. I don't arrive until Wednesday afternoon (as long as the travel gods cooperate).

It looks like a few more sunny days but rainy from Friday - Sunday. I am actually not the first one here a few skaters came in on the 13th or 14th for the early camp. I am doing the camp this weekend and then going to Munich to visit a doctor who is a colleague of my hip surgeon on Monday. I am still taking it easy...no chasing Carolina for me!

Thanks Yall'! Paragliders out today, about 15 or so just really lovely. First time in 3 years it has been nice weather. Also Thomas Verner is here, wicked footwork and very expressive, fun to watch!8O

My lesson's with Mr. Huth are very fun, he is an amusing fellow!
