Ok next week will be my 1st time on the ice for 2007 this is an update from last years post about myknee http://skatingforums.com/showthread.php?t=21797&highlight=knee+hurts%5C

Anyways I will keep you updated on my knee progress. Still havent had a scan on it. But the 6 weeks of rest sorta helped it I think. My podiatrist says that I should get Orthotics as he has put some trial out orthotics and normal shoes and skates.

Anyways I will keep you guys posted

Good luck! Knees are slow to heal. Or mine are, anyway.

Good luck. Take it easy and don't expect too much too soon and I'm sure you will do just fine.

Good luck! Who knows? Maybe after the rest, you'll be better than ever.

Hope it's healed soon! Meanwhile, try to avoid forcing turns (i.e., trying to do turns before the edge has really curved around and wants to turn) or turns with changes of direction like brackets. Those can really pull on your knee.

good luck!! I also took about 6 weeks off for a knee injury last year. Be sure to ease back into everything.

Yay for getting back on the ice! I was off for 2 weeks because of my ankle this past month. I just started again last week, but I'm really looking foward to my 6 weeks off the ice because of the stress fracture in my right ankle/foot. I'm cheating and starting my 6 weeks after Lake Placid next weekend. Shh, don't tell my doctor. ;)

good luck with it!! I'm still contemplating when to go back - maybe at the end of the month.... it will have been about 12 weeks since I injured it by then.
