Sidebar: Am I the only one who thinks this picture of Michelle looks a bit freaky? It looks like Michelle's spine just snapped in half. I'm craving traction just looking at it. 8O

Thanks guys!
I realize that several people were waiting to hear my test results half the day and I'm sorry to keep everyone waiting on the edge of their seats.
I'm also Vice President of my club, so even though my test was the first one out this morning, I stayed to offer support to the other testing skaters and board members working the test session. I also, after calling Primary Coach with my test results was pretty much charged with keeping her updated, as she had a family obligation and was unable to be there. I did have my Secondary Coach with me.
I did have to reskate the power threes on this and well for anyone that has this test on the horizon, get the threes at the top of the lobe. Other things to watch for on other patterns are:

Forward Perimeter Crossovers:
Make sure you step onto a inside edge after the undercut- this is what my main issue was on this move!

Back Perimeter Crossovers:
Get off the toe picks, sit on the edges and hold your undercut and curve!!

Back Crossover to Back Outside Edge:
Get a good extension and outside edge

Five Step Mohawk:
Hold and extend and PUSH on the edges!!

Ooh, sorry I got to this party so late! We had our club Christmas recital yesterday so I had to get all my work done so I could leave early and I didn't check the boards all day. Jazzpants is sure a hard act to follow with all of her ultra-special GIF's, but i can STILL use big fonts, so. . .

YAY, TERRI!!!!!

I dont want to hack into Terri's great topic thread, but its a signature from a basketball player, which I do not know who:?: But it started the trend of signing skating boots for skaters

I think it's Michael Jordan's siggy- Michelle was a big fan of his.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I think it's Michael Jordan's siggyI believe it is Karl Malone's. He was with the Lakers then, and I remember that year at Nats (2004), ABC ran a fluff piece with Michelle and Karl playing basketball at the Lakers practice facility (which happens to be at MK's former training facility, Healthsouth - which I think is now named something else) and talking about being champion athletes and such. I think it came about that ABC knew MK was a big Lakers fan, and asked if one of the players would meet with Michelle and trade advice and such on camera, and Karl Malone volunteered. The piece showed them each signing an item belonging to the other, and then cut to a shot of MK warming up live at Nats and the camera zeroed in on the autograph.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That's WONDERFUL news!

And no competition form ever asks "What score did you pass your highest moves test by? Did you have to reskate any elements?" -- they just ask for your highest test levels... and now you can answer "Bronze".

Terri, I 'm not sure why that's funny but I will tell you the truth - and that is, in many years I have always been the victim of people giving me crap about my skating. I don't believe I have ever tried to deliberately discourage you from your skating, to the best of my knowledge.

There's no need to be mean...I know cece pretty well and she has never once in the couple years I've known her said the slightest negative thing about you - her encouragement was sincere. She's been more on your side than you seem to know...if you want to ignore that, fine, but please don't attack in return to compliments/encouragement.

The skating world should be a friendly one.

LOL!!!
You have me laughing even harder and don't ask yourself why.
You post on here with no congratulations, just asking about a autograph on MK's skate- that really shows your sincerity!
Moderators, please lock the thread. The guest of honor has had enough.
Anyone else can send their congrats privately.
