Does anybody know a good website with practise and competition dresses and other skate wear? Please share! :P

I'm totally lost on what to wear to my Freestyle competition!:frus:

For your competition, definitely wear a dress... it doesn't have to be super fancy, but definitely make sure you are comfortable wearing it :)

skatebuys.com (or is it skate-buys.com ?)
tidewaterice.com
skatewear4less.com
usicewear.com (pricey but pretty)

And then there's always ebay.com

Are you familiar with Skateweb? The "Pro Shop" page has links to pretty much every skating wear manufacturer out there: http://frogsonice.com/skateweb/business.shtml

Depending on your budget and taste, you might want to try the Skatebuys site, as skatingatty mentioned, as well as Sharene, GK, Figure Skater's Resource, Pros Edge Sports, Imperial Sportswear, among others.

Good luck in your competition!

You don't absolutely have to wear a dress, especially as the rules have changed so that it's no longer a requirement for Free skaters. But you do need to look smart.

You can look very nice in a wrap or handkerchief skirt with a matching top, or (if the skirt is black) a gold or silver top - the sort the cheap clothes shops sell in abundance every winter! A pair of black "full briefs" worn on top of your tights preserve your modesty!

But whatever you choose, make sure you skate in it at least once before your competition, to make sure you can!

Don Korte's web site also has a good list of skate clothing retailers:
