....I was recently interviewed and photographed for several local newspapers, as a "straight but not narrow" gay supporter skating in the Gay Games! ;)

Twice.

Once unknowingly for ISI Nationals a picture was taken of a team compulsory event that I was in. That picture ended up in the ISI magazine and in the ISI handbook. No royalties, though!

The other time was for a newspaper article. A freelance reporter whose daughter I skated with thought it would be interesting to do a human interest story on an adult skater. Her editor at the Chicago Tribune liked it, and I had a nice little spread in the Sunday Tribune (this was years ago). This little article led to a human interest piece on one of the local TV
stations about a year later. It was an Olympic year, they were looking for skating stories and someone dug up the article. My two minutes claim to fame!

P.S Black Sheep, I saw your article and picture and it was really nice!
