There's going to be a new skating rink opening in Brooklyn in 67 days. It's going to be at Floyd Bennet Field, which is right off exit 11 on the Belt Parkway. There's going to be 2 NHL sized rinks. Not sure what the quality of the ice will be like. But it looks almost like a Chelsea Piers type complex with basketball courts, soccer fields, gymnastics, things like that. I'm looking foward to it because it's only about a 10 minute drive from my house.

I can't wait...the location is really great for me since I drive along the Belt to work.

Hey--the countdown's new on that site. Very cute. I love the whole "aviation" theme and the operations staff I met are very energetic, nice and seem capable.

At our last District meeting, they said the rinks would be open in September/October. The fields are opening first.

Aviator may be hosting the next ISI District III Instructors' Seminar or Managers' Meeting. (I hope so!)
