Hey,

I've been doing research on what kind of skates to get for the summer time. I've always had Risport skates and I was looking at their site for some information. I noticed a new type of skte called the RF-2 Carbon. I was wondrring if anyone had tried these skates as freeskating type skates and if they were worth it and what is so special and different about Carbon anyway. Risports site was in Italian so i had no help their

Thanks a tonne!

Hm, found the Info on the italien site in English:

Don't know whether there's a true advantage, but do think that they're ugly!

I'd assume it's the lightness that's percieved as an advantage. I know some blade manufacturers (can't remember who) have recently taken to cutting out sections of the blade to make it lighter by a couple ounces...

Hi

It looks like the carbon is made for roller skating mainly. I must say I am a fan of Risport, I find them very comfy.

Hi,

I skate in Risport RF3s, I find them pretty comfortable once I broke them in!

This is the jackson ultima lite blade i am currently using them and i love them. They do look unique but they skate great as well.
