Could someone please list the elements needed for pre-preliminary up through juvenile USFSA freeskating tests? Also, a list of the required program times would be helpful. I consulted with my rulebook, but it is two years old and just want to be sure the elements and time requirements haven't changed. Thank you!

Have you ever been to Sk8Stuff.com? It contains a wealth of information like this, and I see that they've updated the test and competition requirements for 2006. Check it out HERE. (http://www.sk8stuff.com/m_rules.htm)

Another note...
remember there is difference between being at a test level and competing/doing well at a test level. Ie pre pre has no axle to test. But to compete and do well, most kids have them.

If you are a member, you can go to usfigureskating.org and find the forms section. All the current test forms are there.

In most countries (and for adults in the US and internationally), axels and double jumps are expressly forbidden at that level. Do make absolutely sure you read the "well-balanced programme requirements" and don't rely on even the best of coaches to have read it for you and/or your skater.

Yes, Axels are generally allowed in competition for Pre-Preliminary, although some competition organizers may offer a class of Pre-Prelim (No Axel).

Preliminary is often divided into Prelim (no doubles) and Prelim with a limit on number of doubles.

Can't think of any restrictions commonly put on Pre-Juv unless there might be a restriction on number of doubles.

At Juv, the only restriction is no triples. The top Juvenile skaters in USA (medaling at Junior Nationals) will generally have all their doubles, including double axel, solid.
