Hey I have another question, this time about the fourteen step dance!

I don't really understand the steps after you step forward from back progressive...my coach said you step on your right foot, left foot, and then you do the outside mohawk, but I've seen people doing more steps than that...sorry it doesn't really make sense...but can someone please tell me the steps from when you step forward?

Thanks so much!

Step forward on LFO, cross-behind RFI, then left, right, left outside open mohawk.

So the dance is basicallyL left, right, left, right, left, right -- you get the picture?

LFO
RFI x behind
LFO - RFI progressive
LFO open mohawk

That's what I did for my UK Bronze test anyway and for the competitions :)

Info:

-March 6/8 or 2/4

Tempo
- 56 measures of 2 beats per minutes
- 28 measures of 4 beats per minute
- 112 beats per minute

Pattern
- Set

Duration
- The time required to skate 4 sequences is 43 seconds

Soft knee bending and straightening with the rhythm of the music and easy graceful flow are necessary so that the Fourteenstep will be danced rather than walked or raced. A strong lean is necessary to achieve the required edges at a good pace.

First performance
- in Vienna, 1889, as the Ten Step or Scholler March
