Having a hard time breathing with the bad smog, heat and humidity. 94 degrees plus humidity. I have bad allergies but I think it may be more than allergies because even with the anti-histamines, I am still choking and hacking. The chest also feels heaving. I saw my doc yesterday and he listen to my cheast. He wanted me to try a puffer. I want to wait because next week I'm getting another asthma test. Also an ultrasound to find out what hurts in my abdomin and prevents me from doing decent spirals. My spirals use to have my freefoot at least one foot above my hip. I also use to be able to grab my freelegs skate blade and bring it almost to my head while in a spiral position. It could be either an
ulcer, a hernia or an ectopic pregnancy or something. While I was on
vacation in the heat in Florida, the pain became more constant and
and more intense. I'm back skating one day a week until Sept when
then I'll be skating 4 days a week.

Goodness, I do hope it isn't an ectopic pregnancy - actually, that is most unlikely, as you'd have been admitted to hospital as a dire emergency long since. Let's hope it's something very minor that they can clear up!

I do wish you better. I have what is probably toothache but keep telling myself it isn't - it feels like the earaches I used to get about 30 years ago, and nobody every found a cause; it just went away. Maybe this will..... I hope.....

Singerskates: My personal bet is an ovarian cyst--let us know what you find out, and don't overdo it on the ice or off!!!

Singer, you have my total sympathy. My breathing has been horrible, I am coughing constantly, particularly when I go to bed at night. I am seeing a pulmonary specialist on Friday to further investigate my asthma, maybe see if the new pill they have for asthma would do me any good. Feel better!

I hadn't had an attack in more than a year, but the last two weeks have been horrible. I have this terrible cough that keeps me awake at night, it starts almost as soon as a lie down. Last night my husband made me garlic tea (an old remedy) with some honey and lemon and I was finally able to sleep at 2am. I hope it goes away soon...
