mid/hight tests and freestyle

Is anyone familiar with the term in freestyle "mid test" and "high test"?? A local rink nearby is offering off ice training with classes divided into these two categories.

My rink calls High Freestyle Intermediate & up, & low Juvenile & below.

You can probably just call the rink to see how they're splitting it.

Probably just means they have enough kids to divide up the classes, which is better if there are enough skaters. The beginners feel less intimidated, and the better skaters can be pushed harder. I don't think there's any "standard" way to divide classes like that- depends on the rink and how many skaters they have at what level- so I'd just call the rink and ask where you'd fit in based on level.

I also suggest you call the rink/club. My club will be offering a "high" fs session. It includes almost anyone not sitting on the ice making a snowball.
