I read about this on another forum, and decided to help spread the word. I did not know Kirk Langseth, but it sounds like he was a wonderful person. I'm assuming "tomorrow" means Sunday, May 8th, and in the Chicago area?

I am massively sending out this e-mail to let people know the
OFFICIAL word from the Langseth Family. Again, I am hoping that this
tightly woven skating world will get the word out---this is one RUMOR
he would want to have out there!!! ha ha!!! If I've excluded anyone,
FORGIVE Me.......Just forward it on, and apologize on my behalf!!!
Tomorrow from 2:00-???pm at the Darien Sportsplex we will be having a
CELEBRATION OF LIFE for Kirk. This is in lieu of funeral services,
etc....It was what Kirk wanted and we are honoring that request.
I have been busy acquiring stuff with his family to bring to the rink
tomorrow. His entire family will be there tomorrow to help in the
celebration. They hope that people can come and share in celebrating
the life of someone who touched all of our hearts.
As a finale-so to speak-his family is wanting anyone who wants to
join hands and skate around the rink with them, to do so. If you're
a skater, bring your skates........and YES, I will be on skates with
my BRIGHT RED HELMET!!!
