Character spotlight ideas

A friend of mine at the rink needs a new character spotlight for her daughter age 9 FS2. Any ideas ?

Guess it depends on lots of things, what does the skater like?What kind of music?
My skaters have done Pooh and christopher robin, with the song Return to pooh Corner by loggins. We had pooh outfit, and a tent house.
My dd has done a song from Quest for camelot, song called On My Fathers wings. She used a sword, and we made a paper mache rock for her to put her sword into.
Both kids just did Chim Chim From Mary poppins.They had a painted chinmey, and unbrella, dust on their faces, a sweep.My dd had a dress made to look like mary and my son was dressed in black.
All three times they placed first, the last time out of 5 other skaters.
I would pick a song first and go from there. Good luck !!!

Thanks for your input. We were trying to find something that hasn't been done, or at least not done at our rink in the last few years.

I think she finally decided on Lt. Ent. to Choo Choo Ch'Boogie.
