Came out of a spin wrong this morning and badly twisted my knee. Still waiting for a final diagnosis, but best case is probably a sprain, worst an MCL tear. So much for my first adult nationals. Hopefully I'll get there next year.

Sorry to hear it Kim...even a sprain can be nasty. Sit out the rest of the season and don't give that injury a chance to get worse...and you will be out there next year! Best of luck...take care.

AH, MAN!!! I'm sorry to hear about it, Kim!!! Please keep us posted on what the doctor said about the knee! Hopefully it's nothing more than a sprain and you'll be back in no time. Take care

(Sending healing vibes in your direction...)

That's a real shame. You must be so disappointed. All you can do now is sit tight and let it heal. I hope it's nothing more serious than a sprain, even though that's bad enough.

Oh, I am sorry! I do hope it's only a sprain, and that it heals quickly.

Oh, what rotten luck! Will you still go as an observer? I hope it is just a sprain!!! You have our permission to cry and stamp your good foot! Get better real soon.

What rotten luck! Is there no chance you can still skate this year if it's a sprain? Let us know.

I'm so sorry to hear that, hopefully it's just a sprain and not a MCL tear.

Can you still go and watch? Or maybe have a very quick recovery and do your program without the elements that bother it the most? I had to do that one year and really enjoyed my skate because it was for myself and not the judges.

Let us know how you are doing. I will send a healing prayer your way.

That's too bad. Don't rush the recovery and it will make next year all the sweeter.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. I still don't have a final diagnosis, but still can't walk. There's no chance I'll be skating next week, but I may stay and watch Silver I groups.

Good luck to everyone who will be skating - to you and everyone (jazzpants of course) who is working to qualify next year, I hope to see you next year.
