Hi,
I am venturing back into coaching after not doing it for 4-5 years. I am working as an independent contractor for a winter outdoor rink, and was curious if any of you know were I can purchase some liability insurance?

Thanks.

You can buy it from the USFS online if you are a member. It costs about the same from either organization. I'm pretty sure ISI also offers coaching insurance.

what?meworry?

Thanks.
I was hoping to avoid having to pay membership to PSA, ISI, or USFSA...I thought I had long distanced myself from them.

I appreicate all the information. My homeowners will not cover it, and the company I use said it would be very pricey to take out a liability policy. So, looks like I will join one of the above.

I'd advise PSA, mainly for the magazine--it contains very valuable info for coaches. USFS magazine is pure fluff.
