New Ultima Dance Blade

I was just browsing the Jackson/Ultima site and noticed they have a new dance blade coming out in April. Has anyone heard anything about it, and how it differs from the Ascend? From the descriptions given on the website, I don't really see difference.

I was told it's virtually the same except for some cut-outs in the plate and the stanchions. So it's lighter weight.

Just from looking at the pictures, it seems that the Ascend blade has a bigger toepick. Don't know if that's true or not.
