heyy is anyone going to lake placid this year. i am and i was wondering if anyone else was. if no then were do you train during the summer to you stay at your home rink or do you travel somewhere special to get more training in?

Which Lake Placid event are you talking about? Adult Nationals, or one of their training camps?

I was under the impression that the original poster was a child/teen asking about the general summer program and if other posters go to Placid or somewhere else to train during the summer.

FWIW, most of us here are adults, not kids or teenagers, although some of us are. I'm kind of stuck in between. I train at a training center so I stay home to train most of the summer except while I'm competing. I go to Lake Placid during Adult Week most years and take advantage of all the extra ice time. I skate about four or five hours a day while I'm there. At home during the summer I skate two and a half to three hours a day.
