The Malta International Ice Sports Association (MIISA) has recently been set up with the intention of promoting the need of an ice rink in Malta. Unfortunately the only private ice rink that there was on on our island closed down last Summer, just as sports like figure-skating and ice-hockey had been introduced. There is no other winter sports in Malta.
The MIISA will soon be approaching the Minister of Sports and Council of Sports in Malta to ask for more help in this venture. Many people here are also signing a petition to show their interest in ice sports. The association would like to show that this idea is also supported by international ice sports organisations and unions.
We would therefore appreciate receiving an e-mail from you in return stating that you agree that an ice rink is opened in Malta if you are willing to show that you support our association.
We look forward to correspond with you in the future is this idea comes to life in Malta.
