donate your old skates....

I'm going to be working this year on picking up more private skating students & becoming about a 1/2-time skating coach. As a part of this I'm working on building up a collection of decent skates in various sizes, which I can lend to the newcomers for their lessons, rather than having them use the mental rentals. 8O

I'm hoping this will help draw more people into the sport, & let them see what skating is really like, before they have to invest in their own equipment.

I'm looking for people to donate their outgrown or used-up-but-not-quite-useless skates. If you would consider donating them to me, I would pay for the shipping. I'm looking for all sizes, child & adult, girls or boys. Please PM me if you would be willing to participate!

p.s.--this will be an ongoing project, so please keep the thought in mind, even if you don't have any old skates right now....
