It's the plush pumpkin ball they want! After hubby told me that a little one had asked to skate with me and no one else tonight, he added that she asked for "the girl with the pumpkin". :lol:

The kids all love that thing, and it does seem to get them moving. It even talks to them, and they love that too.

LOL those kinds of comments are my favorite thing about teaching. I had a very shy four-year-old girl in my Basic 3/4 class last session who takes privately from one of my friends. It was halfway through the first class before she would come join us. She eventually warmed up, especially when she found out that her coach and I are friends, and her mother said at the first class of the next session she didn't want to go to her class- she wanted to know where her redheaded teacher was (that would be me). That made my day!
